The Saunders Beach History Project was established in 2007 by me, Judith. At the time I thought I lived in the oldest house at the Beach. I quickly found out my mistake and became absorbed in researching the history of Saunders Beach.
In the past few years I came to realize my research has given me a good appreciation of the history of my adopted home and this blog will be one way to share it with like-minded people.
Writing about local history is a joy for me and please feel free to leave comments on the blog posts. It’s a great way to interact and I’d love to hear from you.
